Children can choose which activities they would like to take part in, ensuring they remain motivated, engaged and happy. Each morning begins with a friendly group welcome where children are introduced to one another, expectations are set, and we talk through our “wish list” for the week to create a positive, inclusive camp environment. Sports Camp: Our sports programme focuses on the activities children love most. Every morning, children are organised into age-appropriate groups, including: -Multi-Sports Group (a mix of sports each day) -EYFS & Year 1 Group (age-appropriate mixed sports) -Children are given a choice of group, allowing them to feel confident -and comfortable in their activities. Sports activities include: -Football coaching & tournaments -Gymnastics coaching -Dodgeball -Netball -Cricket -Rounders -Tennis -Tag Rugby -Multi-Skills games (throwing, catching, kicking, tagging and racket skills delivered through fun, inclusive games) Play Camp: Our Play Camp offers a wide variety of creative and relaxed activities, ideal for children who enjoy exploring, creating and social play. Play activities include: -Creative play -Arts & crafts -Outdoor painting -Slime making -Treasure hunts -Chocolate making -Water play -Messy play -Colouring -Board games -Movies -Parachute games -EYFS-focused activities Camp Timings: Standard Day: 10.00am – 3.00pm Early Drop-Off: 8.30am – 10.00am Late Pick-Up: 3.00pm – 5.00pm Venues: Goffs Oak Primary School Flamstead End Primary School Sacred Heart Primary School Our Staff: All Foundation Sports coaches and play leaders are fully qualified and experienced, holding: -Enhanced DBS checks -First Aid training -Coaching qualifications -Childcare qualifications -Up-to-date Safeguarding Children training Your child’s safety, wellbeing and enjoyment are always our top priorities. What to Bring: -Packed lunch and snacks (NO NUTS) -Refillable water bottle -Outdoor footwear (if booked into sports activities) -Suitable clothing for the weather -Any medical information must be completed on the booking form, and medication should be handed directly to a coach on arrival. Cancellation Policy: -All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the booked session to be eligible for a credit. -Cancellations must be submitted by email to herts@foundation-sports.com. -Due to waiting lists, no-shows cannot be credited, as this prevents other children from attending. -Refunds are only issued if the cancellation is made by Foundation Sports. Photography: By booking with Foundation Sports, you consent to photographs being taken for marketing and promotional purposes, including use on social media. If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please inform us in writing via herts@foundation-sports.com or notify staff on the day. less
